DISCOVERING AMBLESIDE VILLAGE

Living in West Vancouver comes with its perks. Not only are you living in one of the most prestigious areas in all of Canada but you re-side in one of the prettiest as well. Ambleside Village lies at the heart of this charm and is located adjacent to the waterfront right at the water’s edge. Just a few minutes from the Lions Gate Bridge this local heavy area is chockablock full of tiny unique stores and businesses. There are lots of restaurants and boutiques that line the main corridor of Marine Drive and area residents can easily walk to almost anywhere.

In the summer months, Ambleside is a hub of activity with art galleries, events, concerts and more. The Municipal hall, the local library and several other civic services (police, fire, and community centres) are also nearby. Marine Drive and Bellevue Avenue are the two major access routes through this part of West Van and include both high-end and domestic items for one self and family. Numerous businesses are also located in Ambleside, including banks, real estate offices, lawyers, medical clinics and pharmacies, grocery stores and beauty and hair salons. Check out this page to see what is coming up this summer and be sure to read below about one or two of my favorite must check out events.

Some of Canada’s wealthiest residents reside here in some of the highest valued real estate in North America. Waterfront condo apartments here each have breathtaking views of water and mountains. Taking a walk down the street is a pleasure, as is strolling along the West Van seawall. The seawalk is always busy on both sunny and stormy days, providing amazing ocean and downtown views, pleasing every one looking to get a little exercise in one of Canada’s most respected and enjoyed communities.
